I’m sending a little more board money to Kim for the Funny girl mare for April board.
And alittlegray is back in the hospital again, this time at Hopkins. Let’s all hope that her pancreatic problems get resolved soon.

I’m still sending my $10 a month to Funny. I guess she’s doing well since I’ve not heard anything otherwise.
I would love to know how she is doing too!
There was an update back in August on her Facebook page that she was losing her sight but doing well otherwise. Nothing since then. I hope if she needs anything someone will post and let us know. I have sent dribbles a few times and would be happy to help our girl more if she needs it.
Funny’s owner posted an update here back in August, and I’m hoping Funny is doing okay.

A funny bump 
Hi all!
I can’t believe how fast time flies by! Funny is still going strong. Eating,napping, more eating and more napping. Her sight isn’t great, but has not worsened. She lost a little weight this summer,but is rebounding with this fall weather. I will get some photos this week and try to post them.
Big thanks to Callie, Funny loves her monthly replenishments of Stud Muffins! : )
I am so glad to hear that funny is doing well. I have been pretty self absorbed lately, and completely neglected getting out to see her. Thank you for updating us, I know she is in the best possible place!
Whatever Kim is doing, she’s doing it well! Funny is still alive and having fun in beautiful VA. I wish all our horse stories ended this well! And thanks to 5 for reminding all of us to send a little money along when we can for Funny’s “board.” Our ottb horse syndicate lucked up when Kim offered to take the old girl.
November studmuffin payment sent today! And don’t tell Cloudy and Hattie what the money is being used for! They cannot have studmuffins and think the money is for hay or supplements, LOL.

I won’t tell! : ) We have to sneak them to Funny, the big guy and company shouldn’t have the stud muffins, they are fattening. At her age, she doesn’t have to worry about her waist line. Thanks everyone!

Does she celebrate her birthday on January 1st as is the JC rule? My mare Callie never did, as she was a late spring foal and always waited till her real spring birthday to admit she was a year older, and insisted that the vet not write her down as a year older when she got her spring shots in February.:lol:

Our mare is still alive and well! If anyone wishes to send her a donation, since Kim has boarded her for us for several years now, please PM bluengrey/Kim, and help Funny is her retirement. I’m totally amazed she’s lived this long.

Yes, thank you for the reminder! A small stipend will go out today. I was thinking of Funny just a few days ago and hoping she was loving her life.
