Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ½ looking for a top-notch eventing trainer and boarding

There is also Aaron Stuckey Hill at Portofino Equestrian Center in Clayton. Has a group of kids and a full XC course. https://portofinoequestrian.com/

North Carolina is pretty large. Why did you choose NC? If for a job, I would expect you to have an area the job will be in. If for family, also it would narrow you down on area.

If no job or family reasons, why NC in general? Just trying to better understand why you are looking in this area.

That barn has to be expensive 22 stalls to support all that? Some stalls may be for staff…

My guess is 22 stalls for boarders? And do they have more horses living outside where there are sheds?

Aerial doesn’t show any use outside besides arenas.

I saw that… but they say they have it.

Actually if you look at the farm on Google maps, it shows quite a few paddocks with sheds.

Portofino’s barn is the anchor of an entire housing development so to some extent the HOA may subsidize that facility.

It’s a suggestion. If you have a problem with it deal with it.

Sheesh, who pissed in your Wheaties Tuesday morning?

I have no clue what the suggestion is ? look at google maps? or - why I have a problem. I am sure it’s expensive board regardless of what I do or even don’t do or whether I have problem with it,

and you would be correct. the board for a non resident is $1750 per month. That’s expensive in my book!

There is Bobby Meyerhoff in Statesville https://www.meyerhoffshowhorses.com and Dana Cooke at Kingfisher Park Equestrian in Mooresville (has XC course/gallop lane). http://www.kfpequestrian.com
I agree with most of what has been said above, eg) NC is a big state, so location of your home and schools to facility will be the biggest deciding factor, 4 lessons/week ???, NC has a lot of options to go schooling at several different places.
Hope we have all been helpful :crossed_fingers::wink:. Please let us know how you make out.
