Helmet Shopping

Thank you for your review. I also have a One K that I love, so it is good news that the BOT EQ3 sounds like it will be a similar fit and worth looking into when my One K needs replacing.

Peggy - I agree that no one NEEDS a separate show and schooling helmet, however I did partially justify getting a separate show helmet because now if I take a fall in my schooling helmet, the show helmet is available and I can take some time looking for the replacement.

Sounds like you already got great advice… just wanted to give a shout out to KEP. I LOVE my KEP. It’s super lightweight, comfy (don’t even really notice that I’m wearing it), and has good ventilation.

I’ve been a big Speed Air fan for years, but last year we broke up when I bought a UVEXX. Super-lightweight, excellent ventilation and a really low profile. More sporty than traditional, but I’m long past the point of worrying that I don’t fit in with the crowd. I have the Glamour and I love the tiny bits of bling in the subtle graphic.

It’s time for a new helmet for me. This sounds like the technology is advanced. I’m soaking wet when I finish one lesson and definitely want something cooler!
