I always preferred black with my palomino.
I would add teal to this list as well.
Chocolate brown, maroon, rich jewel tones. make sure you do a photoshoot when you pick something out !

Adobe color lets you add a picture and then picks a corresponding color palate.
When I did the horses face it’s shows these colors.

Those paint color strips are available at places besides hardware stores. Wal-Mart has them!
Le Mieux has a lovely Mink color that is just a bit darker than his palomino parts.
Sky blue? I had ice or sky blue for my palomino. Burnt orange also looked oddly good on him some times of the year (his colour changed a lot).
Yes I love to do it for my horses and dogs to find their colors.
