*HELP* need potty training for backwards Beagle, UPDATE and more pics page 2

Ah yes, the ol’ matchstick trick…works like a charm:winkgrin:

I used to have to “match” a Bouvier in my group who would poop in the back of my Suburban. 3-4 days a week. With 10 other dogs huddled as far away as possible::cool: She apparently saved her poos from the night before for me - we’re talking rhino poos:eek:

I also had in training a petstore Bichon who finally learned to poo outside thanks to the good ol’ matchstick trick.

Also good for very senior dogs who need help to go.

Progress is being made, he will pee pretty much on command now, and I took advantage of him being fast asleep in his bed to go down to the cellar laundry earlier, came back up and find him crying at the top of the stairs, I thought perhaps he was lonely, but when I let him out he only just made 2 steps outside the door before he had to pee, so it seems the connection is being formed, makes life a lot easier, still have a long way to go, but if the basic indoor outdoor thing is round the right way there is hope.

And with the JRT, who isn’t so much playing as holding on for grim death and is totally outraged that the puppy wants his toy

Seriously, cutest puppy I have ever seen!

Beagles seem to stay “cute” when they grow up, also, as opposed to some other dogs who transition to “handsome”

We have a couple of beagles who live together in my neighborhood and they are hilarious. One barks incessantly when you walk by his yard, and the other just stares at you.

Then they go back to harassing each other!
