I’ve had horrible experiences with “trainers”. My three experiences have made me dislike and disbelieve anyone who says the are a “trainer”. What a waste of literally thousands of dollars.
I say tell the truth from the beginning, hurt feelings or not. Be there for the sessions and demand that they do what you want. If they don’t, pull your horse out of the program and get your money back. We need to stop the backyard trainers. Require certification by a respectable instructor. It’s just a racket with all these people who know how to ride to walk around advertising themselves as trainers. I get so heated when I read or hear about someone else getting ripped off.

My crayons are Natural crayons and therefore vastly superior to your crummy crayons. And the horsies I draw with them can jump higher picnic tables than your horsies can and all my horsies are gonna have babies by a BN stallyun so there you big meanie, you. Hmm, Jeano, I sure hope that IHF’s coloring has nothing to do with having babies with BN stallyuns… It may be illegal to use your crayons in that way. Please, color inside the lines, folks.
