There were some ideas given that I think will be helpful. The owners are going to make a stock for her for healthcare visits.

I’ve tried sedatives and they did nothing except make the situation more dangerous.
i’d build a standing stock.
This year, to vaccinate my mustangs, a few of which were not yet gentled, my vet brought out his traveling stock and i made a chute to it.
If i am not successful at gentling the older guys gentled by next year… or if i decide to bring in more wild ones i am going to build my own standing stock right here.
i’ve seen great homemade ones at a llama farm so they could shear and trim toes that had the ability to slide boards underneath their belly to keep them upright fwiw.
