I would hope that any maker of an upper end saddle would want to work with a customer to discover why a state of the art device failed.
From their web site. “Tad Coffin Performance Saddles. Our commitment is to make the world’s best saddles.”
Sounds to me like the stated mission has changed.

If it cracked with such gentle use and you think the material it is made from contributed to the break, then I wouldn’t be anxious to spend $2,500 on another one. You might be better off saving your $2,500 and putting it towards a good quality used saddle if the time comes that you need a second saddle. I’m assuming you are keeping the Delgrange, which you and your horse prefer over the TC.

Calvin made a transmorgrifier out of a cardboard box. I always thought Bill Watterson made it up Just googled it and it really is a word.

This is absolutely incredible - thank you for sharing! Having grown up in Northern IL I find the entire origin and repurposing to be quite spectacular! And Calyse does such a nice job.
