and the clarino full seat can be machine washed without special detergent. If you order from the UK they are much cheaper.
the knee patch version I like are called the Princesse

I followed Tiffany Foster’s advice (Noelle Floyd) and tried the Aisling breeches. They are wonderful but the web site does not list them as “high” merely mid but they are high. The material is so soft and the colors are brilliant. A bit expensive but I am using them for show breeches only. I did have to have the waist let out 1/2 inch but I am old and my waist has never been extremely narrow. Fit otherwise is perfect.
Pikeur Candelas are nicely high waisted. Also Cavallo Chagalls but the pockets are better in the Candelas.
the Horze Daniela breeches are my fave for schooling. They are the ones I reach for first.
