Hock injections: in-clinic vs. in-barn

I have a horse whose SI cannot be safely injected without stocks – and she’s still trying to buck with sedation/stocks/twitch/professional handling/very competent vet. She’s tolerant of many other procedures (ex. once had shockwave without sedation) and is generally good about needles. She’s also extremely average in terms of how she metabolizes sedation and appeared very drunk when the procedure started. But I was very glad we did the first one in the clinic!

Hocks I have always had done in-barn, no problem.
