Yes, HoofJack! I trim my three, and don’t mind buying some good tools with the money I’ve saved. It is hard WORK! When my gelding was young and Ill-mannered, and I was fat and out of shape, I would do two feet at a time. Now I can do 2 horses I a row, but I never let them get very long.
vallorbe Spirit rasps are my favorite. Pricey, but ime they last longer. I buy them cheaper by the box of 5 from Centaur Forge.
