WL grew up in an academic home and acquired his diction thereby. He is very near 40 years of age, and such hair as remains to him is, in fact, mainly gray. He has tended to wear his sunscreen, however. As to wisdom and maturity, dignity and so forth, well, that’s best left to others to judge.
