Some good news—seller is having his teeth floated today so will have him scoped.
Some bad news—it’s a roar.
Aww bummer, I’m sorry
Aw, I just saw this after replying to your PM and the videos. I guess that gives me my answer about my horse then. I figured as much.
Bummer about this possible horse. He’s a cutie.
So sorry BB! Sending all my good vibes that the next one will be perfect.
Edited to add do you know what grade it was ? Or whether surgery would be an option? I.e. with an adjustment in selling price?
Ahhh, the agony of horse shopping and all the what ifs! If he were local and I were already in love, I might go for it. But he’s in a different state, and I was already gambling on not riding him myself first. So this other factor makes it too risky.
I’ll talk to my trainer tonight about it, but the horse I end up buying needs to be one I can sell in four or five years. So you just try to eliminate as much risk as you can. It’s awful. It’s never fully resolved when I pass on a horse.
Hang in there BB. I’ve been in your shoes and the horse I finally landed on was worth all the previous disappointments. And I realized I would never have found him if I had not passed and trusted there would be another.
Glad you got your answer and the seller paid for it. Sorry this horses isn’t going to work out
