The site says to be patient about shipping since items are picked from warehouses in different locations before getting consolidated and shipped to the customer. I ordered last fall and found some great deals on horse boots, saddle pads and a grooming halter. I told all my friends and toyed with another order, but the deals haven’t been as good and the shipping fee went way up.
I had commented on this thread previously, and wanted to give an update on my opinion.
I ordered 2 saddle pads from Horse.com six days ago, and they have yet to ship. My credit card was charged the day the order was placed and cleared immediately.
I tried to get shipping information online, but the requires an app from Shop, and even with the app, I could not easily get shipping information.
Called the 800 number, gave the automated system the required info, and it could not find my order. Pushed zero to talk to a rep, and since the order had not shipped yet, I cancelled it.
Decided to order online through Riding Warehouse. Place the order at 10:15 a.m., and received an email at 1:29 p.m. that my order had already shipped. Plus, because of my U.S. Rider membership, I got a 15% discount.
Horse Loverz, Horse.com and Stateline Tack are all owned by the same company. After the delay in shipping and the difficulty in even seeing if the order had shipped, I doubt I will try ordering from them again.
I think buying from Riding Warehouse has spoiled me.
Same experience here. I recently ordered an Equi Soft girth bottom through State Line since it was on sale and I didn’t immediately need the thing. Communication on shipping was non existent but I did eventually receive it directly from Stubben. I thought it was extremely odd to not receive so much as an order confirmation via e-mail but I had taken a screenshot of the order number. I notice now that I’ve received the item they can email the heck out of me with requests to write a review.
Riding warehouse on the other hand has terrific customer service and unless I’m getting a screaming deal elsewhere they are my go to online retailer. I once received a package from Riding warehouse addressed to me, with the correct tracking number no less, that inexplicably contained dental office supplies. I was more than a little perplexed. I was expecting horse boots. I called them immediately and they had a new set of boots shipping out before we even figured out what had happened. It turns out UPS had relabeled damaged boxes mid journey at a distribution center and had mixed a few up. The dentist office didn’t get my package so I imagine someone out there was really confused to receive a box of weird, shiny, black pleather from Grandma.
