Horse Transporting Companys

I’ve used Equine Express twice, both times were great trips for the horse(s). It can be hard to get a particular route depending on where you are shipping from/to but worth giving them a call. Both time my horse(s) had a layover at their Texas facility, they were good about pictures and text updates.

Really like Equine Express too. Shipped from KY to TX and will use them again to ship back.

I’ve used Leonards. They took great care of my horse. Communication wasn’t daily which I would have appreciated but they did communicate. The driver was good with my horse, the rig was safe, and she arrived in good condition.

Adding DJB Transportation, based in Wellington, FL. They recently hauled my horse from NY to IL in a big 6 horse head-to-head, new looking and very clean rig. Called 3 times along the way, including when they were an hour from arrival. Polite and professional.

I had a great experience using Siegmund to ship my filly from TN to MA. She shipped in a 6 horse head to head which was set up as 3 huge boxes.

I friend has used Johnson. Another friend and professional trainer likes Kevin Hennessy

Another recommendation for Johnson. They are fabulous!

Run-Amok Transportation!

They have trucks with regular routes to all coasts with bases in TX, CO, and KY. They are fully legal and insured (sad that has to be stated these days). Most importantly, Joel and his crew are amazing with the horses, take tip top care of their trucks & trailers, and are easy to communicate with.

I’ve used Equine Express once and am booked for a second trip currently.

It was a bit iffy on when my last horse shipped due to their logistics trying to fill a trailer. They updated me when the horse was on the road, their prices were competitive, and they were overall a professional outfit. I liked them enough to re book!
