The question is the degree of soundness!
She’s now not wanting to put weight on the other hind…so I’m going to hazard a guess she’s got an abcess there too. Odd as we’ve had dry weather for months, her hooves are in great nick, and she’s never in 14 years had issues with frequent abscesses.
Last year it was eye ulcers!
Luckily (unluckily?) I’m very short on riding time at the moment anyway.

This pony is 28 years old. He’s still giving lessons, going to horse shows, and foxhunting third field. I guess he’ll tell me when he’s ready to stop!!
