These are on TOTD today, and I like the look of the shorter boots. However, I do not need another pair of boots.
Unless I can justify them by calling them riding boots!

Unless I wore half or full chaps with them, I would get major rubs. They also look too bulky to do much besides hack in.
They look too short to be tall enough to ride in and too nice to be just muck boots. I wouldn’t buy them because I can’t decide what they are.
These are knockoffs of Dubarry boots (there’s a few brands around doing knockoffs). People do wear the Dubarry (or the knockoffs) as muck boots/ ground boots since they are apparently totally waterproof. But I can’t see doing real barn work in something that costs this much!

I think people do hop on to ride in them, but not really the greatest fit for that. There was a post on this on one of the other threads I recall.
No, I wouldn’t wear these as primary riding boots. But I do ride in my full length Dublin Rivers, usually if it’s rainy/muddy out, or if I’m feeling lazy, etc. *side note, I LOVE riding in them. Gosh are they comfy!
I mainly wasn’t sure about riding because of where the top of the boot hits. Can’t decide if I think it’ll be uncomfortable to ride in or not.
They look too short to be comfortable to ride in. They would probably pinch you. Unless you ride western…or w/o stirrups…or bareback
I do barn chores in Bogs boots and when I am lazy I do ride in them, but depending on the saddle I use and my stirrup length, they will pinch. Still, if it’s just a short ride, it’s ok. These are even shorter than my boots tho.
I would most likely get rubs from them - but they are really cute!
I like them and I’d buy them as barn boots if they made them large enough to fit my big feet. Don’t think I’d ride in them though. I think they’d pinch or rub.
No, not for riding…I would envision major rubs after only a few minutes.
