Do you feed the psyllium wet or dry please?
I have fed metamucil with dissolved grain pellets and water daily with no problems.
I have fed dry psyllium fiber more requirement than the recommended 7 days a month.
I have fed dry chia feeds daily. I buy pounds of human grade from getchia.com I buy the 50 pounds of equi aid when on sale at smartpak.
google chia seeds and psyllium fiber to see how both help horses.
do not feed wet. Only metamucil gets a good soaking.
psyllium fiber and chia seeds are fed dry and not with dinner but with a little pelleted feed.
