My Barn is very expensive. I work there so i don’t board a horse personally but i considered leasing and it was 650$ for 3 days a week while board was 1200$ a month. The barn was located in a big city though and the horses didn’t get to run in a field just little paddocks so i’m probably moving stables.
The horse I’m planning on leasing (if I can get my nerve up to get back on him after a nasty fall off a lesson horse last week!) is $700/month for 3 days a week. Another girl I know currently has him partially leased for the other 3 days (our barn is closed on Mondays). That includes everything but lessons which can be added on at a discounted rate, (also have the option to use any of the arenas and surrounding trails on your lease days without lessoning if you choose). Myself and the other girl would be the only ones riding him other than our trainer. This is at a well known show barn in an expensive area, also this horse is only six. So you seem to be getting a lot more for the same price!
