I left the trail on mine, it was so funny! It did eventually fall out but it was just too fun to look at in the meantime. Of course, I wasn’t showing him or anything.
It’s probably ok, we are having a really weird and often very cold spring. I’m so sick of cold weather.
Now if I could just get her ribs to disappear I would be golden. Feeding continuous hay, 3 meals a day plus oil, up on worming, etc. Just growing like a weed at the moment (and just starting pasture introduction for the year). I swear they put on most of their growth for the year in their birth month. At least that’s my theory.
A few ribs are just fine, they will catch up eventually and fill out
