How to protect a horse that paws while he eats

If I’m not fast enough removing them, my horses do me the favor of cleaning them themselves by dunking them into the water trough… :upside_down_face:

however peeing into them can easily be done

and the nose bags, they work fine until horse decides it needs to get some water after eating, dunking bag into the water bucket
