Gumtree - I love your posts, and this one is no exception. The first sentence above is the thing everyone should be prepared to do - if you go into this game with the expectation that you will come out ahead, you will very likely be bitterly disappointed. But, if you resolve that you will very likely lose the money you have put in, but will enjoy every minute along the way, however small, it can be very rewarding.

We had a MSW winner last week at Aqueduct, and it was worth all the months and months of waiting and watching and dreaming, and writing checks. That feeling when she came down the stretch and passed the two favorites to get to the wire first was like nothing else. It’s been ten days and I still can’t stop smiling!

Thank you guys! I’m super proud of her - our managing partners are excellent horsemen, they bred and raised her, and I’ve known her since day 1. So, it’s really cool to see her become a winner. She’s been racing in top company since her debut, which also makes it extra special. We’re very lucky because we also have a brilliant trainer who I can’t say enough about. We’ll see where she takes us!
