How TS breeches became a debacle

First time I’ve ever heard of a store complaining about being allowed to reduce prices to sell product. I can guarantee that the smaller stores still made $ off “no MAP week” (much like “ATM Machine,” “MAP Pricing” doesn’t make sense) and there’s nothing to complain about besides that superstores like Dover and Smartpak exist in the first place.

It really doesnt matter. Nor would I have ever even thought to call the manufacturer of an item I wanted to return outside of the return policy. Why would I do that? I didn’t buy the product from them, why would I ask if I could return it to them?its just bizarre.

Equiline seem to be the up and coming label. See a lot of it at WEF this year.

Thank you MIdge, we are pleased that Equiline is a brand desired by many equestrians. We also make breeches (not jods) in junior sizes so happy to outfit the Hunter pony riders as well.

So you are the evil back door shopper, hu?:lol:

I do have to wonder if all this drama actually did any harm to TS’s business.

I honestly think it has. I run the blog (my friend and guest blogger is the one who wrote the actual article) and I have had MANY people tell me they will no longer consider TS breeches and actively seek out alternatives. This may not have hurt TS 5 yrs ago, but now there is just so much competition in breeches and at so many different price points it’s hard NOT to consider customer service.
