Hunter/Jumper Barns in TX

Does anyone have an opinion on Gianna Aycock’s program in Flower Mound?[/QUOTE]

My husband took lessons there and while he enjoyed it, I wouldn’t recommend their lesson program. Everyone of their riders is too far forward and perched. Hubby is still trying to fix his position two years latre. I watched one of their lessons and every rider was waay too far forward in the saddle.

Lots of great advice on this thread and of course there are tons of great trainers in Texas. I just wanted to mention that Courtney Calcagnini has recently relocated to Argyle from Pilot Point and is now very easily accessible for anyone in the DFW area. The farm is right off FM 377 on FM 407. There is now also a full time stay at home trainer, Shannon Fenney, who teaches lessons, rides, and looks after the horses while Courtney is gone. Grand prix rider, Scott Lenkart, is now also at CSC Farm training and riding with a great perspective for all the horses and riders. More info can be found at cscfarm.com where you can contact Courtney or Shannon about a tour or lessons. I have ridden with Courtney for over a year and have had nothing but a great experience!

If you’re in the DFW area, McLaren Equestrian is the BEST! I’ve never learned so much before I came here.
