I think the point Harmony is trying to make is that:
(a) most competent upper-level (prelim riders and up) competitors have a hard time getting sponsership, even the successful ones
and
(b) much less a rider who has never competed in a rated event. And never competed about prelim. Not saying it’s not possible, it’s just weird.
I think everyone on this forum is well aware of the benefits of sponsers. You can check your attitude at the door - there are LOTS of experienced riders and competitors on these boards who have loads more experience than you. It just sounds like an odd situation, forgive some people for looking askance at it. The fact that you’re acting like you’re the center of the universe & expecting everything to be done on YOUR time so you can do whatever YOU need to do - forget the fact that the weather has been miserable & the USEA has THOUSANDS of others to worry about in addition to you - yeah, it’s going to make people a little cranky.

I’ve been following this thread, and you make the valid points that I was thinking. It’s pretty amazing to be that young (I’m assuming “young” here by the dreadful spelling and entitled attitude) and be able to gain sponsorship when one hasn’t ever even ridden in a rated (does that equate to sanctioned USEA event)? Much less at Training level.
Gee, why didn’t I think of that 25 years ago? Silly me .
As for delving into 'your" personal business, you came onto a public forum and bitched and whined that the USEA has done you a disservice-and then expected that everyone here was going to jump on your little pitty party bandwagon. Get real-I’m sure the O’Connors have had to wait for things too. If I were working there and heard your nasty attitude? I for one would put your paperwork at the bottom of the stack. That’s how the real world works sweetie.
