No more histo! No more treatment!
The vet wants to weigh him/see him once a week for a while, to make sure his recovery is going well, but hopefully we are in the clear now! I am so grateful for all the jingles and good wishes and compassion and sympathy everyone had for Nigel (and me). Thank you all so much! I know they helped tremendously.

Yes, he was going 3x a week - he got to the point that he was hiding and I had to go get him on my lunch break. He’ll be happier.
I will have to find a photo of Nigel and Ham that you haven’t seen yet - okay, here’s an awful one from last week. I guess they’re not cats - they’re Tabrador Retrievers? They decided to both jump into the bathtub while I was trying to run water in it.

Just a quick update - Nigel went back to the vet for a checkup yesterday (yes, with the snow and cold!). He’s up to 7 1/2 pounds now! The vet kept commenting about how feisty and uncooperative he was. He did have another round of steroids, because he’s getting some sniffles again, but overall, the vet is super happy with how he’s doing.

I don’t know if the sniffles will be long-term or not. He hasn’t had them for a little while now, so maybe they will come and go, or maybe he’s over them for good? He could also have allergies. If they come back, we might do an allergy test and see if that’s the problem.
