I’ve fallen off horses several times, including at a gallop, and my glasses have stayed on my face every single time.
Modern lenses are virtually all polycarbonate, which will not shatter like glass.
Airbags deflate faster than the blink of an eye. Those that usually get hurt by them were not restrained by seat belts. Airbags are supplemental and their safe performance depends 100% on being restrained in front of them.
