Last weekend I took my new mare to a benefit to raise money to finish completion of the Hoosier Horse Park’s second water jump, check out the video of the awesome course on my blog and I hope to see you splashing through in the future!
(do we dare tell them about the poison ivy growing on that old Pan Am drop fence?)
and etr I think that your mare like many others was confused by all the fences grouped together, that seemed to be the theme of the day. It took many of the rounds out that day. I know Dorie really had to hold her ride together to keep her mare focused where she needed to be.
And thank you to all the participants who turned out, the large new water complex will be a welcome addition to the area! They even had trail riders turn out for the hunter pace to enjoy a (hot) day of fun.
Ahhh, the IEA president did point out the poison ivy to a few people and I seemed to come back sans poison ivy (I’m actually in the picture of the people on the Spirit’s Descent) so I think everyone was safe! It’s an excellent vantage point!
We were there! Well, we were set up at the IDS Show across the parking lot, but loved meeting all the eventers who stopped by! Can’t wait to see everyone at the Leg Up Horse Trials next weekend!
Also, the blog is awesome enjoytheride!
Ahhhh, I think I sort of met you in person when I walked down with a friend to look at a bridle! Nice that we have a local vendor to attend shows. We need more of that.

enjoytherideAwesome! We had a great time meeting everyone!
We saw the new water complex under construction last weekend during Nad’s clinic. Wow! I know it’s a bit pricey but it’s going to be great.

Its not just the water jump, it’s the tremendous amount of clearing we did to open up that area as well. It has added so much useable space!
its all going to add so much to the Hoosier Horse Park.
