I don’t know which pharmacy the vet was getting the Pentosan from. Se just mentioned that they’d had issues in the past.
Because Adequan and Legend are hard to get and significantly more expensive.
I am a vet, although I do small animal exclusively. When Adequan was on backorder forever, we only had Pentosan to use, and when my own dog became lame and I couldn’t find a reason why I used it. After the third injection, no more lameness. It’s been over 18 months and still no problems. It is significantly less expensive, which is why we now are back to Adequan:no:
