I'm looking for a needle-in-a-haystack dressage saddle...

Stubborn Tristan
Love mine but it sure feels odd after the more blocky saddles[/QUOTE]

This! I have one and it has nothing to it. Just flaps and a flat seat. Hard as a brick though.

I have a Stubben Genesis Special and it has no knee rolls at all. The seat does not appear flat from looking at it but I find it very open to sit in. I hate a constricting saddle and this one is definitely not. I can sit right where I want. Plus, the biomex is great for my bad back. I can even sit the trot some without feeling it later. Also the twist is not as wide as many dressage saddles…I can’t handle a wide twist.

It is sort of an updated Tristan. I liked those too but the Genesis Special is much more comfy and accommodates my long legs well.

Another vote for Stubben!

Their older ones are notorious for having no blocks and shallow seats. They have updated their lineup, and the good news is their new seats are way more comfortable than they used to be. Even without the added Biomex, mine is quite comfy.
