He might have some tummy issues, but my heeler mix will only eat after I give her love and if I stay in the room.
Currently, I make her work for her food and she eats fine and at a healthy weight

I finally left him alone for about 1/2 hour earlier this week, and he was good. After that, he seems to have relaxed a bit, and is actually using the doggy door to go out as well as come in. He is doing a bit better about eating, at least if he leaves it, he goes back and finishes it. He is very casual about treats too. He begs but seems fairly uninterested in food mostly. He is so sweet! I took him to my niece’s last night. She has one fairly hyper small dog and I am not fond of him, but this week they did much better, and Sam even went outside and played with him for a bit.
