Is possible to correct the footing on the landing side so the ones still to come will have the same conditions as the ones who went?
I see this as a possible major screw up, and it’s going to cause more embarrassment for equestrian at the Olympics.

This is so not right.
Rain, a flooded jump, and a million glossy rain slickers glittering from the stands. I’m guessing they’ve used up all their carma?

There are 4 left to jump, who if they go double clear will be in the medal spots.
Bengstsson
Maher
Lansink
Lamaze
And if not, we will have a jump-off for gold, silver, and/or bronze. We might wind up with a jump off between no faulters for gold/silver and for four faulters for bronze, even!
I really want to see a double clear…
This really sucks for the horses and riders…but I’ve gotta say, I’m loving the chance to peek in at the warm up ring.
OK, Ninja heading back in.

ehhhhh S**T happens - it part of doing a “outdoor sport”. They didn’t plan or mean for it to happen, it will be a big deal only if people make it a big deal.
I haven’t been hearing the airplanes anymore. Did they ground everything but the Olympics for the typhoon?
Ohhh Ninja…
DOUBLE CLEAR
And it’s now raining. Hard. It will take an amazing horse to go double clear.
That’s what I’m thinking… which of course is unfortunate for the later competitors, but…

If they only knew that we’d be thrilled with a split screen showing the warm up area and the stadium and pay for it by punting all the announcer talent.
WOOHOO Double clear!
Im going to die…come on Eric!
Lovely ride from Bengtsson…the Swede is in Gold medal spot now.
Interesting observation. I haven’t heard them either.
There it is!
Thanks to all for the great descriptions-I can’t see video at work and the computers won’t go to Chinese web addresses.
