My friend put hers on a timer, in case someone forgets to turn it off.
Be sure to get heaters with fixtures designed for outdoor use.
The indoor heaters become temperamental in the humidity, and often get hot enough to ignite the dust that settles on everything in a barn.
Try look at the heaters for chicken farms, or green houses. www.farmtek.com is a good place to start.
