I agree with putting nothing in the eye that isn’t labeled Ophthalmic. That’s a terribly risky thing to do. Sterile saline OK. Nothing else.

Polly’s eye looks much better now. She’s been so good at getting her ointment. Last doses are today. She’s felt well enough to go outside during the day since Wednesday. Incidentally, I did see two feral cats twice now at night. Ours are locked up by then and fed inside, but they could have run into them during the day. I think they belong to the neighbor and work in her greenhouses.

Yay Polly! She sounds like a very sweet kitty. I’m glad her injury healed up well and she was good about her ointment.

Polly doesn’t even have any scars from her injury. Eyes are clear and all her crazy toes seem to be in working order. My husband’s animal identity app freaked out when she ran into view. It must have counted the toes.
