We used a worx mulch blower that has the vacuum mulching option for my mare till she needed totally pelleted soaked feed. It took me about an hour to do one bale but it would last her a week!! Worx has an attachment for it that goes over a garbage can so you can suck and chop the hay straight into it. The tube for the worx one is larger than most blowers because you will have to pull the bales apart to get it thru. After that stopped working she was on pelleted soaked feed and soaked triple crown chopped forage hay. Theres is amazingly dust free and she loved slurping down the warm water after we soaked the chopped hay which helped her with hydration since she wasnt a big drinker to begin with.
