Is this normal red fox behavior?

It’s catch 22! Because wolves and foxes are not domestic pets, there have been no studies of the effectiveness of the rabies vaccine on them.
Hello experts, foxes and wolves are both canids.
So the vaccine works, it’s just that the state/feds won’t recognize its efficacy. Bureaucracy at it’s best.
So if you know a DNR officer who has the bait, you can use it. Otherwise trap and take to vet and give shot.

When I lived in Mo. all those animal breeding farms sold wolves and foxes, and the young foxes in the pet stores were so cute when they pushed each other with their rears when playing. Couldn’t buy one, as I lived downtown and had a boyfriend his dog and my dog and cat but the foxes were precious.

I got a chuckle last year from watching my two Barn Tigers gang up on a half-grown red fox last year, early one morning, ultimately chasing it up the paddock. Poor kit had an expression like, “What the heck?” I guess if that’s the one I’ve seen around, it should have a healthy respect for FURocious barn kitties.
