ISO Dressage At Devon Video

Is it me or all these ‘changes’ also originating in the forehand, rather than coming from behind as they are supposed to in Dressage?

Ding ding ding:cool: She is always at least a half stride late behind because sbe is asked to change from a slow long-framed disengaged on the forehand canter, which makes it impossible for her to swing through cleanly.

Which again begins with his position [insecure, loose, leaning forwards] and how he rides her [on her forehand, no contact, no connection] and her fitness [no work when it’s under 40* and when she got work it was being ridden poorly, incorrectly, front to back].

He brags about his position being “quiet and still”! Well, maybe at the halt. But he’s slamming down on her back like a bag of rocks every canter stride. He has no seat, no leg. None. And he plays the hell out of that piano he must have hidden in his crotch.

Man, I really hoped his departure from this thread meant he’d gotten the message that coming here under alters and ranting about the Chronicle were counter-productive w.r.t. salvaging his public image.

And then I followed some of the above posts to Facebook and saw he’d also posted another of his very professional, well-reasoned “FAKE NEWS” warnings to keep the responsible, rational, and dressage-wise FB supporters who see his true genius from finding their way to this here cesspool of “lying garbage with hypocrisy articles”.

His brilliant feats of logic establish that COTH is “fake news” because:

“Someone” (who can reasonably be inferred to be SW of Dressage Hub fame) sent him Facebook analytics that show DH a distant third in FB dressage-related page likes, behind Eurodressage and Dressage Today, while COTH (not strictly a dressage publication, and unlike DH not a FB-based business) is absent from the top 6.

Because the publication opposes bullying, and the forum community standards nevertheless allow the expression of personal opinions by private individuals (incl. opinions about public content relevant to equestrian activities).

Because the forum follows generally accepted practices for safe internet BB interaction in not requiring forum users to publicly share personally identifying information.

Because, despite the screen names he so vehemently objects to, he has ascertained that no credible equestrians visit COTH and everyone who posts on this forum is a FJL and a terrible rider.

Because a frivolous defamation suit he brought against COTH was decided in COTH’s favor.

I may not see the artistry in his dressage riding, but I’ve got to admit that he’s truly a maestro when it comes to creative interpretation of the world outside of his own equestrian fantasy.

Nick… you are embarrassing yourself. Starting this thread, bitching about a terrible lesson with a trainer that you never had a lesson with, having a transparent tantrum on FB about the COTH forum and how no one should ever post there all while feigning innocence about the fact that you have done exactly what you are telling others not to do…

No one sought you out - you came here to stir **** up. Apparently you want/need the drama, drama, drama that you profess to hate and come here to wallow in the “filth” - as you described it.

P.S. Making up FB “fans” is extremely pathetic… funny how that “Laura Harrison” just happened to stumble onto your blog… and how “she” sounds exactly like you…

Laura Harrison I discovered you thanks to the chronicle. I admire your training and enjoy your videos. It’s an amazing accomplishment to train an Appy to Grand Prix and so many others to upper levels. You have a gift and natural feel.

P.P.S

If by “serious problems” you mean the ability to recognize obvious behaviors, patterns and phrases… and see through the usual gushing praise… you are right.

Mr. Peronace has to make up screen names here because he’s been banned from the COTH forums.

He apparently doesn’t have the foresight to realize that the more he mentions COTH ,the more people will come here and discover that he is indeed unqualified and dishonest. They can see for themselves his bizarre and creepy behavior here: https://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/f…onace-dressage

Re the “Nick/Laura Harrison” FB quote. I think Pam Fowler-Grace did a better job. Perhaps NP is jealous that Ms. Fowler-Grace and not he was invited by Paul McCartney to participate in Linda McCartney’s memorial service.

Not true. <---------- I’ve have said that for a few years. Go to that thread you referenced and look at post #26. Where does it say he is banned? He didn’t post very much under his own name. Mostly his alters were the ones banned.

Then look at the author of post #134 on the same thread. Banned.

Even kellydressage is not banned.

You mean Laura Harrison, who joined FB a week ago with a Quarter Horse stock photo snagged from a razas de caballos (i.e. horse breeds) website as her profile pic and a map street-view photo of a barn somewhere in the Netherlands as her background photo? You’re not familiar with her? Goes to show how out of touch COTHers are with the international “none-warmblood” dressage community.

Just proves the maestro’s point about how pathetic it is when people spend time and energy in internet echo chambers where people hide behind made-up screen names…

The made up profiles don’t surprise me as much as the handful of people that are still taken in by this charlatan!

A rider with more than one ride on that day, at various levels… is one thing.
This Maestro with one horse, doing two tests… is certainly different.

My thoughts exactly.

I have no quarrel with having a caller. It is allowed! On the part that I watched though, the caller repeated everything. I believe it is allowed to repeat if there is reason to believe you were not heard (sudden background noise, wind, etc) but I have never heard a caller repeating everything!

As per the rule, a caller is indeed allowed.

As per the rule, a caller can repeat if they think they weren’t heard. So technically, as many time as needed.

Our Canadian rule is different as you can only repeat each movement once.

I used to call at assorted shows (both Canada and later in the US). If I repeated a movement and put EMPHASIS on certain WORDS it was usually an attempt to get the rider back on course… no one had any trouble hearing me. #veryloudoutsidevoice

I have no issues with anyone using a caller… you may know the test inside and out but the caller is your insurance if you have a brain fart.

And the video has been taken down…

Who is shocked? Not me for sure…

Not only that, but I’ve used callers as « mental » help for youngsters who didn’t like being « alone » in the ring… The presence of a known person (usual groom or owner) going around the ring with the horse, standing there and leaving with can be reassuring.

I couldn’t care less if I could hear whatever was being called… hihihi

It can also be reassuring for anxious riders to have someone there too.

I’m old, I get confused, I use a caller, I have no issues…LOL, plenty of other things to be concerned about, a caller…blah, if the rules say it’s allowed, what’s the issue.

i am slowly struggling through the original intro to The Meatloaf Maestro, 60 pages of awesomeness, we’ll the first 30 are…COTH at its finest…poems, clips, exedera :lol:

And of course the funky chicken piaffe…I have things to do…but can’t step away from a 6 year old train wreck
