ISO pasture board for Lay-up near Corona, CA

After multiple lameness exams my vet has determined that my horse has a soft-tissue injury in his SI region and would be best in a lay-up situation with full-time turnout for at least 6 months.:frowning:

I’m looking for a facility that would take a horse w/ a full set of shoes and would feed grain & supplements (that I would provide) in addition to the normal hay (pref alfalfa) twice a day.

Please PM me for more details, I have references if needed. Would love for this to be near Corona, but will consider Wildomar, Murrieta and Temecula too.

You might try this place which is in Corona: http://www.heavenlyacresranch.com

I looked at it several years ago for a retirement. There are small paddocks along the edges of the pastures and the owner said she would put horses in there to be fed. I don’t remember how flat it was and I don’t know if that would be an issue for your horse.

Talley Meadows in San Jacinto is much better for your needs as the owner is extremely knowledgeable. Many show horses have gone there for rest and rehab. https://www.facebook.com/Talley-Meadows-Layups-and-Retirement-1438717793033145/
