This thread was three pages when I opened it but as fast as I could read (briefly) through the pages it grew and grew.
I would like to add my sincere condolences to the list. Of all the COTHers who have mentioned the spouses on the boards, your relationship with Calvin stood out like a light. I am shocked and feel sick that you are facing this - I am so sorry.
This is Sooo sad… Tamara posted on another thread (regarding staying with a husband just for the horses) and wrote this:

It is what poped into my head when I saw this news. 
This is terrible news…my condolences.

I was so sorry to read this and hope that all the well wishes and support from everyone on here - including me - can help you through - what must be a very tough time for you and your family.
All the best and hope that the love you shared with your husband can help you through this too. I can’t imagine being in your situation - I think it would kill me - strength to you too to help your children in this really tough time for them too.
