Jingles for Cat Lady - RIP

DT, love your stories.
“Halo visible” hahaha

Great update on Panther and Maggie. These people have a 4, almost 5-year-old. Their cats have never liked him, just tolerated. He’s not cruel, just abrupt and frisky. Panther doesn’t care. The kid can run up to him, pick him up, do anything, and Panther just purrs. The boy carries him around, and Panther sleeps with him. The kid is thrilled to have “his” cat.

Maggie is less kid proof but has really bonded with the mom.

She is very pretty.

She wanted to check it out in here. This is different from Beryl. Rascal is a much stronger personality. I could tell she has been considering coming in for a few days, and today, she marched right back up the steps beside me. No dart in; that was a considered decision. But once inside, she’s looking around, evaluating. I don’t think her mind is made up yet. I told her she can be in or out, but that she could not remain as both and would have to make a decision fairly promptly.

Update on the state of the feline union.

Beryl is still happily inside. Rascal went back out after consideration. She is very large for a female and a ferocious hunter. I wasn’t sure myself she’d be happy as a full-time housecat, but being Rascal, she wanted to check the place out.

I haven’t seen Tina in weeks. Really afraid something happened to her.

Outside, the remaining new additions are Cotton, Poly, Satin, Bagheera, and Joyce. Sarge was seen sniffing noses with Satin yesterday.

Great update and how about “The New Adventures with the Cat Angel”

enjoyed the update ~ thank you !

  • some very lucky cats !

they have found a ‘new cat lady’ !!!’

How about starting * Chapter TWO …nine lives … new thread ?!~!?

"The Second Lives with the Cat Angel "

or
" The New Adventures with the Cat Angel"

and all the new pics and updates can re-start in their new “Forever Home” ??

It probably is time to move to a new thread. What a wild couple of months it has been, but I suppose I’m Cat Lady II now.

I still think of her every time I go past that turnoff, which is regularly in the course of my work. And when I see the cats, of course. I had hoped that Rascal wasn’t looking for her in here, but she didn’t seem to be. She was just exploring. She wanted to know what was in this place, though she wasn’t too impressed with the Siamese. Rascal knows that she isn’t here. I’ve told her several times that she’s not coming back; maybe it’s gotten through.

She was a grand lady, and I’ll remember her fondly. Rest in peace.

Yes ! Cat Lady was special !
You’re just as special, if not more special !
Bless you for caring for all the cats who enter your life !
