Best wishes for the burrito!! He’s adorable even sideways drunk.
I hope the injections get him back to normal in no time.

This face!!! SO cute.
Ohhh that’s his sire and bestest buddy Argie, and he is waaaay cute.
I had told my SO if we ever have property, he needs to be ready for some goats… I have since changed that to one of these. I’m fascinated and have fallen down the little donkey youtube hole now.
Odie has many Youtube videos.
I mean I switched to IG because it’s easier so they are all fairly old videos, but still.
Thanks for the idea! I just had the French edition downloaded onto my Kindle. (I only read in French to try to keep my French from getting too rusty). Apparently, I had some sort of Kindle credit because it was free!
Any news on the Evil Burrito’s rads? Jingling like mad over here in Wisconsin! I love the Evil Burrito and his dad!
I posted a pic July 22 It is ugly, but I am happy to say that the injection did indeed seem to help. I still see him take very ouchy steps but day-to-day is now much better. He’s still 1-2/4 grade lame on average but not like…call the ASPCA lame…
Here we are almost a year later. Sad to say the injections didn’t actually help, vet and I both had the sads. My herd health appointment is the 26th and we will probably take a couple more pictures to see what’s what, but I’m very sad to announce that Odie is not doing great. We will have an in-depth convo about QOL and estimated pain levels. So far equioxx hasn’t seemed to work either. He still seems fairly plucky and happy for attention, but he no longer runs around with Argie and Argie pesters him. He walks toe-down and with a funky little twist. Hope for the best for me please?
To keep it on a not-so-down note, some pictures from the annual donkey-shearing yesterday!
How it started:
How it ended:
Argie being the best boy about getting his little legsies done:
Odie halfway (friend and favorite small human helped):
Every year we do a competition and try to guess who will have the biggest pile. My favorite small human and I won this year by picking Odie; my friend picked Argie because he won last year
Oh, no! I am so sorry, Jenners. We’ve all followed Odie over the years and are pretty invested in the Wee Burrito. Here’s hoping there’s a glimmer of hope in the check up.
Two fisted jingles for the forum’s official Burrito (and his owner).
I’m so sorry to hear about Odie. Hoping for the best. Some prayers for your little man.
My back hurts just looking at the shearing pictures.
Jingles from me and my crew for your little Burrito.
JINGLING like Mad for better news for the Odester.
I feel your pain
When my tried-to-founder (4yrs ago) mini has a flareup.
It hurts us seeing them gimpy.
Re: your shear piles:
This came off a single alpaca.
Taller/leggier than your boys, but body size similar:
Honestly not awful! I do a lot of squatting too, it’s pretty manageable. Or I’m just used to it But they are such good boys about.
Jingling for Odie, but we all know you will do the best for him.
I’m so sorry! I’ve read all the evil burrito shenanigans from the beginning and I hate to read this.
Massive jingles, finger crossing and prayers for that precious boy.
Lots of jingles for Odie! We all love you, little man!
I was re-reading the thread and this caught my eye. Crap. I lost Rory in Feb. Their birthdays are/were 10 days apart too; May 17 for Odie and May 27 for Rory, same birth year and everything. My heart, it hurts, and I swear I’m not crying on my work break.
