The jingles worked, everyone! as of yesterday’s conversation with the vet, there is no more reflux and the tube was able to be removed, and he is tolerating water. Today he was taken off IV fluids and has started the refeeding process. He has been comfortable since yesterday, and he has been given the green light to come home! the barn manager lives on site, but she’s away with her family until Sunday, and with a big winter storm to hit the area tomorrow afternoon, I don’t feel comfortable having him back home just yet.
