I only consume turmeric in food as well. It can interact with other meds when taken as a supplement.
The only food that seems to make a difference for me is if I overdo sugar. A little bit is OK, but if I eat much, it triggers my neuropathy terribly. As for nightshades, I don’t eat much raw tomato, just occasionally on a burger, and it doesn’t make a difference for me. Potatos are fine for me, too. Food triggers for people with autoimmune diseases seem to be extremely individual. It makes me nuts when I see people proclaim that everyone must eat a certain way. The science certainly doesn’t support that.
