I spent months looking online at potential saddles for my downhill, moderately high/long withered, big shouldered TB - looking specifically for saddles with deep panels in the rear - although I was thinking of them as “big rear gussets” rather than “deep panels”. Ended up with a Black Country GP Event with front gussets and deep, gusseted rear panels. It was tweaked and blessed by a fitter and seems to work fairly well for him.
