Jumper Conspiracy?

The older mare just looks so unhappy and uncomfortable. The other one isn’t going to be a hunter but looks like a fun ride for somebody. The video shows a lot of jumping with what looks like similar clothes/tack so I’m assuming the same day but maybe it was over more than one session. The draw reins too are distracting. But I don’t mind the horse at all.

Is there commentary on the videos, was watching with no sound?

Anybody else think that Ace is probably not the best word to have along with your horse’s show name?:lol::lol:

I can’t believe someone would take two green horses and jump those size fences, just because they can jump. She’s disgusting, those horses are going to get hurt or will become broke down messes.

I believe she changed the name tag to ACE from ASH because she was suspended from the USEF and from any rated show for a period of time and was looking for a work around to get the horses in.

Another interesting find. She has had people invest at varying levels, some at hundreds of thousands of dollars and still can’t make it work. There are multiple sites like this with her soliciting money. She is a con artist at best: https://www.kiva.org/lend/1090663

Most if not all of her videos and write ups have multiple excuses as to why she failed in the ring. None of her reasons include her lack of skill, knowledge and pushing the horses too hard, too young.

Wow. I read a bit about the Cradilo lawsuit too… She comes off as an absolutely audacious scammer. And a complete ingrate. If I were his owner, I would be more than a little bit upset that this person continues to use the horse’s name to try and promote herself. The whole website is Cradilo this and Cradilo that. Enough already.

Worth noting that you get no money on Kiva if your loan request does not fully fund, as hers did not.

I bet George Morris somehow erased the memory of her from your mind…

After reading the “Letter to the Editor” she wrote to the horsey mag (under “writings” on her website) I was left absolutely befuddled. In this letter, she gives a long winded explanation of jumping ahead that starts by claiming the actual causes of jumping ahead aren’t really described properly (and that the standard fixes for jumping ahead creates stiff, perched riders). Then she goes on to state that most riders who jump ahead are “bored” and “looking for something to do” or some such along those lines. Our hero then says she will graciously give the actual fix for jumping ahead but being that it is a “competitive sport” and she has never heard anyone use her method to fix jumping ahead before, all credit must be given to her in the future as she said it first - and goes on to give some weird hose analogy for the spine.

DD was in the office with me whilst I read her description aloud, and her priceless reply was “sounds like the worst enema you’ll ever have!”

I think all her writings fall into the category of verbal diarrhea, and she needs to close the sphincter.

GM is probably NOT the reason the schooling ring clears when she shows up

So basically.

  1. Amy refuses to wear spurs for Chris/GM
  2. Amy leaves Chris
  3. GM didn’t like Amy’s horse
  4. Michael Matz liked him
  5. Michale Matz ruined horse for GM
  6. Amy’s wealthy clients clinic with GM
  7. Amy’s wealthy clients leave Amy for GM (not to go to A/AA barn but 'cause GM said to)
  8. Amy clinics with GM and he is mean to her, only her. (unsure if she wore spurs)
  9. The Holloways buy her horse
  10. The Holloways show said horse successfully on GP circuit
  11. The Holloways change horse’s name for GM
  12. The Holloways Bench horse for GM
  13. Hunter Holloway won Maclay (which was a dumb move for Hunter) cause GM was the judge (even though he wasn’t or is GM just making us think he didn’t judge it).
  14. Amy borrows a horse she can’t prove she leased
  15. Succeeds greatly (per her) with horse
  16. GM finds out and owner takes horse back for GM
  17. GM doesn’t know how to ride thoroughbreds.
  18. GM can only ride bombproof horses and can’t see a distance.

Completely believable and not at all… My personal favorite is #18

This whole saga highlights one of the benefits of the internet and social media.

25 years ago, the only warning one would have had about her would have been through word of mouth. But now, you can just go to her own website, read her writings, and see the red flags.

You got me! I should add it to the list. And she doesn’t WHERE spurs on thoroughbreds lol

I was really hoping she would show up to play. Must say that I’m very disappointed.

Thank you all for killing the last 2 hours for me. Work is going by much faster. I read through her entire article and was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt at first, but the longer you read, and the instant you see her videos, it’s clear that she’s nucking futz.

She wants to be famous, can’t do it with her riding, horses, training etc, so she thinks by going after GM and other well known riders/trainers she will become famous. It sounds like she has scammed or screwed over some good people for years. So her name should be out there, she should be famous, just not for what she was hoping.

He didn’t pull. He was way too lazy on the flat for my medical conditons, which is why if I import again, I’m flying over to Europe to try horses in person. Completely misrepresented. Dirty stopper. Would freak out on trails or riding in outdoor by himself, which I was assured in both cases never occurred. Horse had only been with a group in trails as evidenced by her FB pictures. Would freak out and almost bolt or rip my arm or my dad’s arm off trying to apply fly spry or show sheen. Would fidget in the aisles non stop while tacking. Someone had to hold him while I was tacking. He bopped my in the nose and face quite a few times from being sort of nuts in the crossties.

When he got to the dealer’s, she admitted that he was “nuts”…used “sale-friendly” terms regarding fly spray freak outs, etc…everything that I told her about what he did with me.

Home he got is a nice person but can’t ride him because he’s too difficult. Then he went lame or had some leg injury at her place…always super sound with me. So basically he’s a pasture ornament. And the other horse she bought from the same dealer she is now trying to sell as he is unrideable.

Yeah, that’s me. Horse could jump 1.50m with a pro and 1.20m-1.40m with it’s original amateur owner and myself. He was way more than $25k. Budget with import and vetting was mid-five figures. With the ridiculous boarding and catering only to the multi-multi-millionaires here in Chicago/N.IL, I can’t afford to keep that up for more than 2-3 years…and I don’t even care about showing and never have. And the horse was schooling PSG and starting passage and piaffe. I think I’m a way better dressage rider than anyone in H/J land as dressage doesn’t exist in this discipline.

Horse turned out to be grossly misrepresented, which was my fault for not going to Europe and trying horses, which I would do upon importing again.
