Just a vent - why aren't breeches stretchy anymore?

The Tuff Rider ribbed breeches are stretchy but not as thin as tights. They come in Longs, and now have the stretchy sock instead of velcro at the ankle.

I bought a pair of these breeches in December and they are awesome!!! They also make a style for curvy women. I’m no longer held hostage by name brands that are uncomfortable to wear.

Those are nice! Way above my price range, but but nice.
I wish more breeches had a phone pocket AND zip pockets.

I wish they made their fun breeches in knee patch. I don’t understand why absolutely everything is full seats and then they make like one pair of knee patch and it is the most boring colors imaginable.

In December they were on sale for $99 and like you, the regular price is more than I would want to pay.

The full seat isn’t crazy sticky, it’s got those dots all over the seat. I haven’t found that it restricts my riding.

Check out the tights with belt loops, and wear a belt? That fixes any issues of tights staying up for me. I like the Noble Outfitters “Balance” tights, but can’t speak to length. They were long on me, but I’m 5’1", so most tights are long on me.

To help some of us hold our cellulite in (and stomachs, and thighs).

I have the opposite issue that I love stretchy at home but “in public” (lessons, shows) I need less give, more forgiving material

Speaking of Piper breeches, I just got a small catalog from SmartPak with loads of them on sale.

The Dover full silicone seat summer breech was long enough and allowed my curves to be covered  . Buckwild just made their breeches shorter and they no longer fit me. Irideon and Kerrits seem to be the best right now.

I am a diehard fan of the Horze Grand Prix breeches. I’m 5’4 and have to cuff the normal length by a few inches so they should work well for you taller gals. I find the material to be the perfect balance of stretch and support. I’m on the fluffy side after 2 kids and I feel supported through my belly area but have plenty of stretch through the legs to get the hip and knee flexion I need when mounting. They’re a mid rise so good coverage. But definitely order a size down from your normal sizing. I’m a 36 in Tailoreds and 34 in the Horze Grand Prix.
