Just Add Oats supplement?

Has anyone heard of the Natural Horse Vet’s Just Add Oats? It came up on Feedxl as a good (almost perfect) match for my hay, but I can’t find anything about it online. The website looks pretty gimmicky to me, also. :woman_shrugging:

Looks like just another supplement.

It’s been around quite a long time. It’s no different from most other v/m supplements in that it’s fairly generic. There’s nothing wrong with it, the ingredients are very typical, the GA is what it is. If your analysis says it balances things, assuming you put in your actual forage analysis and didn’t choose a generic one, there’s no reason not to use it.

Is there another product that would be cheaper and balance it just as well? Probably.

My biggest issue with it is the marketing of it, not the product itself. There’s NO WAY to know that it’s a good fit for an average grass and oats diet. How high is the grass’s phosphorous and/or how low is the calcium? How many pounds of (high phos) oats are you feeding?

But you have details, so it’s much more appropriate
