As brought up earlier in the thread McLain was a teenager when this happened. The chips in boots and sensitivity is one thing, but it’s wild you think we should hate him because of what his father did.

By that logic the hate Karl gets is completely valid. Daddy has a net worth of over $6.8 billion. No such thing as an ethical billionaire and his company Intuit has done some shady things that have negatively impacted the lives of thousands if not millions. The FTC doesn’t investigate you for stuffing some money into your mattress and let’s not get started on their lobbying activities.

I don’t know where you are getting that $400 billion net worth figure. According to Forbes, Scott Cook’s net worth is $6.8 billion. Still a staggering amount of money but a very far cry from $400 billion.

For context, Elon Musk’s net worth is just north of $400 billion, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos about half that. Jackie Mars is worth about $40 billion. The Cook family is fabulously wealthy, but not anywhere near those levels of absurd wealth accumulation.
