Kastel shirts for $35 on Zulily
I bought smalls for all of them, I hope it fits… I wear a small in the TS shirts, does anyone know if that might work?
I can’t comment on the coat (also ordered one in S), but I am a S in TS and EIS, Essex Talent Yarn too, and the S in Kastel is good. They are slightly more clingy and form fitting than the TS Ice Fil, though - FYI

Snickle- I’ll try to measure my M for you when I get home from work. I have quite a few of these shirts and they are great. I’m 5’8 and have long extremities and I find the sleeves work very well. In fact, I use them at the gym and hiking along with riding.

Pic for reference… you can see extra fabric around my wrists:

Thanks for sending the links. I’m probably better off with a L, but if you did happen to have a chance at measuring the M would you let me know?

So I just can’t resist. You all are bad influences!

Now all I have to decide is the color and the size. I was all set to order a M, but then I saw osgoka01’s photo which made me think the M will be huge around the bust for me. I hope the small’s sleeve length is the same length as the medium.

Did anyone get a dress? Those were cute! But looked too short for me.

Anyone else with a “spare tire” around their middle wear these? I don’t have any sun shirts yet, but have heard good things about the kastel shirts, I’m just not sure if I should get a medium or go up to the large. Based on the size chart I’m between sizes.

akhunterrider, I read a review that said the fit of the shirts are less favorable for those with curves and that the Kastel clings a little tighter than the EIS.

Here’s the photo from the review she’s wearing a M apparently: http://horseandstylemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/kastel-denmark.jpg

I think it depends on how tight you like your shirts. It you like a snugger/tighter fit order the M or if you like things a bit looser order the L.

I know not very helpful. I’m stuck between sizes too S-M and I can’t decide which one to order. I’m also concerned the S would be to short in the sleeves, but I really dislike baggy shirts.

Do a Google search on “Charlotte Jorst” and you will get a good idea what type of body the shirts are cut for.
People have made comments that she is “beautifully built for dressage” which I think is true.

I’ve found that the shirts are cut for long arms and a slender body. I think the arms are what I’ve found the most different from other shirts. I’ve got muscular arms so the large looks better on me since it is not so tight in that area. It would be nice if the size L were a bit more snug in the body, but I feel that being a bit looser in the body is a better look than going with the M and having it be too tight in the arms.

I was also between sizes according to their size chart (actually, I was all over their size chart). I went with a large, because I would hate for the M to be too skin tight, and then I would be embarrassed to wear it.

I’m also all over their size chart which is making it hard for me to decide. I don’t like skin tight, but I also don’t like baggy. and I hate sleeves that are to short.

Also how did people get free shipping? I see that after I buy one everything else I buy that day ships free. But I still have to pay shipping on the first shirt.

So tempted. But I think it probably won’t work for me - short and skinny but curvy. Basically the opposite of the “ideal dressage body” haha. Sigh.
I’m a 36DDD and love these shirts. The fitted nature of them and slightly stretchy means they should work for a variety of body types.

^This. I think they are pretty stretchy. I saw a 34-week pregnant trainer with a giant belly wearing one last weekend.

on or off the horse? I hope the latter!!

Although I know a couple of pros that insisted they were practically born on horseback since their moms didn’t stop riding until shortly before they were born.

Off the horse but still coaching at a schooling show! But the assistant trainer at my barn continued flatting horses until one week before her delivery!

Firebug, did you see the picture of me riding in the size Medium? It is a looser fit on me, but I don’t think it looked bad. I’m a size 4, 28 pant size and small bust 34B (for reference).
