keeping ice balls out of hooves

Sure - we always joke that as soon as we do the borium and pads we’ll have a mild winter. . . Unfortunately that didn’t work this year - tons of snow ! Who knows when we’ll hunt again, but at least they’re happy turned out.

Well, I found that my $30 investment did two things: kept snowballs out of my horse’s feet, and caused all the snow in northern VA to melt. Say thank you! :lol:

You can thank me too. $200 per horse (with borium), shod all around for the first time in…15 years. Yup they’ve been happily barefoot for 15 years and since they moved nothing but mud and abscesses. So since we did this around the first of Jan, no snow.
